Powder coat or vinyl "wángskin" upgrades are strongly recommended. Otherwise, wings are shipped raw, and while aluminum does not corrode the same way ferrous metals do, your wing will get progressively uglier as it is exposed to the elements.

I swapped out my trunk mounted J’s Racing type 1 1600mm wing that was sitting on 295mm stands for this 68” fender mounted wang. The first thing I noticed was how rigid the wing is! Especially compared to any trunk mount wing. I can push and pull the car from the wing without thinking twice. A plus is I can still fully open my trunk even with the OEM spoiler fitted with the splitter gang duckbill attachment. On the freeway the car feels less draggy. I know that sounds silly to say. How could I even know that? Well, the true test will be at the track. Thanks guys for making an awesome product!

Best big wang choice for your s2k
Just received this updated version of the chassis mount wang for my 2006 s2000. I previously ran the weld in trunk style - which was great, but this new fender mount is better in every way. It's sturdier, easier to install, looks brilliant, AND YOU CAN KEEP YOUR TRUNK. I give it 6/5 stars.
Took about 1hr to install, threw some hondabond around the holes to keep water out. The 3D profile of the mounting brackets makes it so its pretty easy to find the correct position on the fender. Stop reading this and go grab a set.
